Join us Sunday, May 15, as we celebrate our 35th birthday. Thirty five years ago a group of quilters decided to meet and form a guild. I was around for the first meeting. If I remember correctly we had about 85 quilters show up for our first official meeting. Thank you to that group of quilters that got the idea and got Bear Valley Quilters off and quilting!

Our special guest this month is Rob Appell.
Join us Sunday, May 15, to hear from Rob Appell. Rob is a local who has moved in the quilt world from an early age. His family owned The Cotton Ball at one time which gave him his start. Come hear his story!
We made progress in our hybrid meeting presentations. In April we learned how to use the sound system at South Bay Community Center. This allowed us to show a You Tube video to people in attendance – AND everyone could see and hear. The bonus! Members attending via Zoom also watched the video with good visual and sound. This new knowledge allows us to contract for a virtual program that can be viewed by membership at SBCC or via Zoom.
We normally meet on the third Sunday, but this month that falls on Easter Sunday. Therefore . . . we will be meeting APRIL 10.
